I'm sure you have never seen and heard about these kinds of papers.

Double Tissue Paper

As it can be understood tissue paper is light paper and double tissue paper is the thicker version of it. For the most complex origami designs, double tissue paper is preferable. In order to make this paper two tissue papers get stuck by the water and liquid glue. If the designer prefers to make grids in the pre-creasing pattern of the origami, no matter which model it is, double tissue paper is the most suitable one.

Triple Tissue Paper

Triple tissue paper is not the one that we can always see. However, if the designer plans to fold the paper with less steps it is better to use triple tissue paper since it is thicker and the origami can stay as a sculpture without any stand. If triple tissue paper is used for complex and long step origami, in the intermediate steps the paper can get harmed and torn.

Standard A-type paper

As obvious, in daily life, A-type especially A4 papers are used. There are other versions such as B and C types however, they are not used as much as A-type.

Standard A-type papers are not preferred by master origamists because of their thickness.
